According to MSN news and BBC news, the number of dead people is increased to nearly 400 (provided by MSNBC News: 378 ) people and hundreds more is injured and is being cured by professional doctors! On 25th November 2011 will be a national day of mourning! It is the saddest event that have never been met at all after Pol Pot Regime!
In the name of Cambodian people, everyone should share something or donate some money to help the injuried people and the family of the dead people!

a boy told me he was on the bridge and he felt the bridge was shaken/unsafe. After the accident, two survivors struggled passing by my place and told me the bridge post was shifted/broken, causing the break of electrical wires and electrocuted people, which make people panic. Polices may try to control the panic, water spray toward the crowd, but instead, the water escalated the electrocution. A doctor confirmed that people died from suffication and electrocution.

Diamond Island (Killing Island) construction was just built a few years ago a company. They also built 2 small bridges linking Diamond Island in the Tonle Sap river with the mainland which is one bridge for entry and another one for exit. The construction is not standard many people use, uncontrolled development. This year Phnom Penh municipal or government arranged people to go to that risky area. Its a very poor management and governance.
